Local Groups and Ambassadors

Republic supports a network of autonomous local groups around the UK, with multiple key volunteers called Ambassadors sustaining them. These groups are challenging the monarchy in the places they know best, working with their communities to change public opinion and galvanise others to put pressure on the monarchy.

Campaigning by these Republic local groups has been central to growing our movement and creating more impact, whether through uncovering the extortionate cost of the coronation through coordinating freedom of information requests or holding captivating street stalls to draw people in and discuss the importance of our issue.

These local groups are organised and run by great Republic members like you, taking part in street campaigning, political lobbying, organising protests, supporting our Republic campaigns and much more. Interested? Well, use the map to find your nearest group and join one of their group chats to get started.
