Schools
Now Recruiting Speakers
Republic is now recruiting speakers for the new Schools Programme.
You don't need any previous experience, just a commitment to republicanism and good communication skills.
Find out more on the
Jobs page.
Republic is routinely asked to visit schools, colleges and universities around the country.
If you are a teacher or lecturer and would like a speaker from Republic to attend a class or tutorial, or to give a talk to an assembly, please get in touch.
Where ever you are in the UK, we should be able to arrange a visit.
To find out more, email Campaign Manager Graham Smith at
g.smith@republic.org.uk or call Graham on 07747 608 770.
During the course of 2008, Republic will be developing handouts, factsheets and other resources for schools and colleges. We particularly wish to provide material for politics and citizenship classes.
If you have any particular suggestions, queries or comments about what sort of materials we need to provide, please do get in touch.
Schools Programme Working Group
